Seattle, Washington

We had a great day adventuring in Seattle. 

Ferry across Puget Sound.

We found a fun playground at the base of the Space Needle.

The Seattle Space Needle. Built in 1962 with three steel legs and held together with 72 giant hex nuts. We had an incredibly clear day and could see the North Cascade mountains. Mount Rainier was still in the clouds. We did, however, get to see it from the boat on the way home.
