Big Hole National Battlefield, MT
A major battle between soldiers and the Nez Perce Indians was fought here. Nice trails showed where each side was and how the battle was fought. Ultimately the Indians fled.

Monument erected in 1883 to the soldiers who died here.

Funny, they erected a monument to the soldiers, but not to the Indians. Some things never change.
