National Bison Range, MT

Set aside over 100 years ago, the National Bison Range is a wildlife refuge where they maintain a herd of American Bison. There is an interesting visitor center with loads of skulls, antlers, and skins. We went on the wildlife tour "African safari" style- dirt road, in big red,  with strict instructions to stay in the car. The highlight was the elk, even though the bison were cool too. We saw 3 huge bulls- one was 7 x 8!
