This is a beautiful spot on Payette Lake high in the mountains. The roads to get here are sniggle snaggle and fun to drive. Incredible views along the river with steep cliffs on both sides. The town itself is wonderful. They have clearly put some money into the public areas and the beach. We had a wonderful dinner of burgers and milkshakes and then played at the beach until sunset. There are beautiful houses along the lake. Many of the side streets aren't paved. We will definitely put McCall on the list of place we would like to visit again.
Jim thought it is important to note that I could move here. It has views, skiing, wonderful old houses, and a great town. The middle school is pretty nice too! Of all the places we have traveled only a very few have gotten such a favorable review....
Ali's three reasons for not moving to McCall:
1) There is a lot of traffic.
2) We left Sparkles the unicorn at home.
3) I would have to leave my friends behind.
Sam says she will move after 8th grade. She wants to stay at school with all of her friends.
What about not being near grandma Kim and grandpa Alan?
